The number of recent immigrants who have purchased housing, increased. According to the report of one of the largest financial institutions in Canada «Scotiabank», the housing market in the country develops, owing largely to immigrants. The report says that recent immigrants have become quicker to move out of leased accommodation and buy your own than it did in the past. The number of those who bought their own homes from 2001 to 2006, has increased among all groups of immigrants. "Among the immigrants who have bought their own homes, most of those who live in Canada less than 10 years", - said a senior economist «Scotiabank» Adrienne Warren.
