The railways which have appeared for the first time in the thirties in Canada by 1860 had extent more than 2 thousand miles. Railway transportation presence has impulsed to the further development of a metal-working industry, coal mining increase, growth easy and the food-processing industry. There was a heavy industry. In 1853 factory gate left the first locomotive. In the fifties there was an iron and steel industry. In 1857 the oil recovery has begun. The share of the central areas has sharply increased in manufacture of an industrial output of the British North America. Growth of old cities and new settlements has begun fast rates.
