www.google.com/profiles/marksega In the resolution it is offered to all member states of the United Nations, governmental and non-governmental organizations to celebrate the International day of the migrant on the basis of activity on distribution of the information on human rights and the basic freedom of migrants, an exchange of experience and working out of measures on maintenance of their protection. Since 2000, annually on December, 18th it is marked as the International day of the migrant. Till today the International convention on protection of the rights of all workers-migrants was ratified by only 37 countries. Though Azerbaijan since 2004 is a member of the International organization on migration (it is based in 1951), it yet did not ratify the above-stated convention.
