However the Chinese diaspora was not limited to creation of the closed communities, its representatives actively participate in a political life. Among them is both mayors of cities, and members of parliament, and ministers. Growing influence of Chineses has forced Conservative party which has come to power in 2006, to make a recognition of injustice of the head tax point of the program. The leader lost then Liberal party Pol Martin always adhered to a line "any apologies, any indemnification". But also it on the eve of elections has replaced a position to gain the Chinese diaspora.
