The third similar line between two countries - a great risk of replacement of one language another in Ukraine and Canada. For today thanks to the rigid language policy on protection of the French language in Quebec and to encouragement of immigration from the former colonies of France the share of the French-speaking population was stabilised at level of 22 percent (the given censuses of 2006). However, considering considerable language and cultural influence of other provinces of Canada and such powerful neighbor as the USA in which TV, the film industry conducting mass media is English-speaking, outside of Quebec are in a zone of risk gradual, but inevitable assimilation. In a similar way and in Ukraine there is an unequal parity Russian-speaking and an information-entertaining product that speaks presence of the huge media market territory of our northern neighbor. In the Ukrainian realities it also is one of the important factors who gamble on a theme of a language question in Ukraine and influences language space in the state in general
