Canadians usually shake hands with men and women, especially at public events or during business meetings. In some cases, especially close friends (male and female) in French-speaking regions in the meeting kissing each other on the cheek. In English-speaking Canada are good friends hug when meeting. Usually during communication, men and women do not go beyond a handshake, if only they did not close or family relationships. Many Canadians believe waving hands during the distracting conversation or even an irritant, some of it even seems intimidating. Nevertheless, they quietly among the more active body language of people from other countries.
